A day out in London!

SUP GUYS? Ranveer here. Charlotte has safely arrived back from Menorca and we just uploaded a new video together, so make sure you check it out! Charlotte will be uploading a vlog from her holiday very soon, but in the meantime, I thought I’d share a bit about what I’ve been up to!

As you all know, we are currently on our summer holidays and will be for another two months. I have been trying my best to make the most of these holidays by going out and having fun with friends but I have been having far too many ‘lazy days’ where I just sit around at home contemplating what to do next.

If you follow us on instagram (@_ourhappyplace_) then you’ll know that a couple of days ago, I decided to take up my friends offer of attending the filming of a TV show called ‘Trust me I’m a game show host’ at the London Studios. The tickets were free so I honestly had no reason to reject her offer. But before our little group made our way down to the studios, we decided to watch ‘The Purge: anarchy’. I’m always up for a horror film! Don’t worry. I won’t give any spoilers but what I will say is that it wasn’t actually that scary. It seemed to be more of an action/thriller kind of film, as I found myself jumping at a few points during it, but I didn’t scream or feel the need to cover my eyes. I get scared very easily so that must mean something. It was just a bit too predictable for my liking, but I thought it was a lot better than the first one. Anyone else agree or am I alone on this one?

After the film ended, we walked around and searched for somewhere to have a late lunch and after spotting a little pizza place, we looked no further. Lunch = sorted. We then made our way down to the ITV studios and actually got there a couple of hours early. The wait was worth it though as we got to sit in the second row from the front.

For those of you that don’t know, the comedy quiz show is basically about two hosts (Sue Perkins and Frank Skinner) that try to fool contestants into believing a series of bizarre and funny facts. The contestant has to try and figure out which host is lying and which one is telling the truth. For every correct guess, the contestant will win a sum of money. Simple, right? I did get quite tired towards the end of the filming, but the hosts kept us entertained the whole time.

It was a great experience, and I can’t thank my friend enough for getting the tickets. I had a good laugh and really want to go again. Hopefully next time Charlotte will be able to come along too! :D xxx
