WASSSUUUUPPPP?
Ok, so I'm sure you all know that I'm at university now but what you probably didn't know was that the university I study at is located in LONDON. That's right. I joined the huge student community of one of the most exciting cities in the world. I thought I'd just throw together a few clips that I filmed from my first two weeks here. SO HERE IT IS:
As a London fresher, there were so many different events that I could go to, but DON'T WORRY! It may seem like I went out to clubs/bars A LOT, but to be honest, I wasn't that bad. Also, I just want to mention the fact that I don't drink (and I never have). You might think that that's a bit weird, but I have SO MUCH FUN going out with my friends without drinking. So Yaaaaay:')
Also, you might have noticed that Charlotte appears in this video too and that's because her university term hadn't started at that time. So she came along to one of my freshers events :D
Now that I'm a few weeks into uni, I don't go out every night, or even every other night. I get quite a lot of work to do from my lecturers, which takes up a lot of my time during the day (after lectures have finished) and once I go back home, I'm too tired to do anything xD BUT, I think I'm starting to get better at balancing work and play so wooooo.
I joined so many societies at the freshers fair, but now I've come to realise that I'll probably only have time to commit to 3 or 4 of the ones that I signed up to. If you want me and Charlotte to make any videos related to university then let us know in the comments section of our video or this blog post. Or you can tweet us @_ourhappyplace_ :) We could film a university room tour or talk about the subjects that we study; Anything!
