WASSUP? HOW YA DOIN? Charlotte and Ranveer here and OMG do we have stories to tell you guys from one of the best. days. everrrr.
Contiki RoadTrip 2014 Meet and Greet… need we say more?

FIRST UP: we got there earlyyyy. As in 7am. Now, maybe some of you will think that’s a bit extreme considering the event was meant to officially start at 11am – or 11:30am in reality – and that meant we had 4 hours of waiting off the back. We didn’t care about the wait though, and that was for two reasons; first, I (Charlotte) had to be at work, on the other side of London, for 1:30pm; second, we KNEW it would be worth the wait. Who would pass up the chance to meet their favourite Youtuber, especially if that Youtuber were Superwoman?! xD
Tbh though, queuing up didn’t feel anywhere near as long as we expected it to, and because we were so early we were number 78 and 79 in the queue :’) . We were even able to wander around before the line got moved inside (using Ranveer’s sisters to hold our place)! Cos of thatttt, we were able to get some niiiiiice Costa. Hot chocolate with cream and caramel shortbread for the win, SON!!!
But yeah. Onto the real shizzle now. When we got inside it again defo wasn’t what we expected. Having seen loads of vidcon vlogs, we thought that the lines for each Youtuber would be kind of taped off, wide, and a bit of a scramble at the front – but there was no tape. They were only as wide as two or three people. And at the front, everyone was just so excited and in awe of the people they were about to meet that there wasn’t really any scrambling, just a lot of sudden realisation that “omg. This is happening. This is really happening”.
Woooowww though. The first person we met was Superwoman. She had the longest line by far, and despite all of those fans and the craziness surrounding her, in the few moments we got to meet her she seemed so down-to-earth, cool, laid-back… Basically, just as amazing off-camera as on-camera. And omg after that time with her our lives were just so complete!! Evidence? She did a moustache pose with Ranveer.
She swapped hats with her too, I mean… Superwoman… She. Wore. That. Hat. Ranveer ain't everrr washing that again!
OH. And she got her friend Inkquistive (Omg!!) to take a pic of her – ON HER OWN PHONE – with Charlotte. OENGOWNEOGINNKJOWNGWN!!!! She said that she loved the top she designed. Oh the completeness of Charlotte’s life right now. It was so worth the time spent drawing that unicorn, standing on a rainbow in a superman outfit.
After that intense experience, we even got to talk to Inkquisitive. And he told Ranveer he loved her yellow shoes (or as Charlotte calls them, her “banana shoes”, and the reason we became friendssss). In fact, he didn’t JUST tell her he loved them. He shared his plans to – and I quote – steal them from her. Awesome times.
So by the time we had done all of that, it was around about 12. Charlotte had less than an hour before she had to leave for work, and she thought that the amazingness was all over for her because we had been told that to see another Youtuber, you would have to rejoin the queue from outside. And outside, even at 9am, was crayyyyy crayyyyy… But no! There was a short, separate queue for people who had already made it inside. Ohhh, SO worth getting up early. Because of that, we were both able to meet Joey Graceffa, and just in time. We got to model pose. We got to admire his hair. We got to wish that the odds may ever be in his favour.
Just before having to venture outside again though, we stopped and took some selfies because omg the other two people we reallllyyy wanted to meet, Kalel and Anthony, had gone behind their stall for a moment and that meant we could get them in the shots. Ahhh so sneaky – at least it would’ve been if Anthony didn’t seem to realise xD In the pics, it looks like he is looking at us and smirking a bit! I guess we wouldn’t make great spies… but hehehehe :3

After that, Charlotte literally leggggged it to the tube station and that was that for her. Despite having to leave early though, she was still on a high even after having the most annoying customers at work. Couldn’t stop smilingggg :’) .
But, of course, Ranveer and her sisters got to meet many more Youtubers….
We all had a great time meeting them and we want to take this opportunity to thank them all for being so nice to everyone. They had so much patience and for that we have so much more respect for them. They are, after all, our inspirations for starting our own YouTube channel!
