Oxford Freshers!

Hey guys, it’s Charlotte and todayyy I’m gunna be talking to you about my first couple of weeks at university.

Soooo for those of you who don’t know, I’m in my first year studying French and Beginner’s Russian... at a different uni to Ranveer. *sigh* ... She's in London, and I'm all the way in Oxford; but don't worry, cos we are gunna keep making videos on our channel! :))

For me, term started really late; the 6th October. I’d been set soooo much work to do before that date, and in all honesty… I still haven’t finished it. Considering I have a tutorial on Monday based on the part I haven’t done yet, it’s a little worrying. But it’ll get done somehow. xD

Despite having loads of work before and during Freshers Week, I still had (and am continuing to have) an awesome time here. There were clubs, college bops and parties you could go to every night, or, if drinking and clubbing isn’t really your thing, there were a bunch of events like pizza parties, ice skating, trips to this UH-MAY-ZING ice cream place… basically, there was something for absolutely everyone, and you were bound to find other people like you. So if you’re reading this and worrying about when you first go away to uni… stop worrying. Kay? If I managed to find people as weird as me, you can find someone as odd as you. ;)

I really hope you enjoy the video; if you have any questions about university life, or you want me/Ranveer to film something about a certain aspect of it, please please pleaseeee make sure to leave a comment! We'll try our best to do them for you guys. :D

Until next time though, keep on smiling and I hope you have an amazing week.

VLOG: Freshers Week I London

Hey guys, Ranveer hereeeeee!!
WASSSUUUUPPPP?
Ok, so I'm sure you all know that I'm at university now but what you probably didn't know was that the university I study at is located in LONDON. That's right. I joined the huge student community of one of the most exciting cities in the world. I thought I'd just throw together a few clips that I filmed from my first two weeks here. SO HERE IT IS:

As a London fresher, there were so many different events that I could go to, but DON'T WORRY! It may seem like I went out to clubs/bars A LOT, but to be honest, I wasn't that bad. Also, I just want to mention the fact that I don't drink (and I never have). You might think that that's a bit weird, but I have SO MUCH FUN going out with my friends without drinking. So Yaaaaay:')

Also, you might have noticed that Charlotte appears in this video too and that's because her university term hadn't started at that time. So she came along to one of my freshers events :D

Now that I'm a few weeks into uni, I don't go out every night, or even every other night. I get quite a lot of work to do from my lecturers, which takes up a lot of my time during the day (after lectures have finished) and once I go back home, I'm too tired to do anything xD BUT, I think I'm starting to get better at balancing work and play so wooooo.

I joined so many societies at the freshers fair, but now I've come to realise that I'll probably only have time to commit to 3 or 4 of the ones that I signed up to. If you want me and Charlotte to make any videos related to university then let us know in the comments section of our video or this blog post. Or you can tweet us @_ourhappyplace_  :) We could film a university room tour or talk about the subjects that we study; Anything!

Hope you liked the video! xxx

The Humming Challenge

Hey everyone! Charlotte and Ranveer here. =D

It feels like forever since we last uploaded a video, even though it’s only actually been a week; these last few days have been hectic for both of us. We are both finally at university now and have loadsss of work to do, so with Fresher’s Week and all the rest of it, our minds have been a bit occupied with other things. For that exact reason, we decided to upload something which we filmed just before I (Charlotte) went off to uni.

This challenge was actually soooo funny to film, probably because I was unbelievably terrible at it. I mean, who knew that Cee Lo Green’s number 1 hit was “It’s my birthday, it’s my birthday…”?!  Like… I literally have no idea where that thought came from. I no doubt amazed you as much as I amazed myself there lol. WHAT WAS I THINKING? xD

Even though I am definitely not very good at this kind of thing – as you can also see very, very clearly by watching our Theme Song Challenge  – Ranveer is actually prettyyyy good. Tbh... as much as it pains me to say it... she really did deserve to win. I’m just EXTREMELY happy that we decided not to do a punishment for once!!! Although, now the score on Charlotte vs. Ranveer is 3-2 to her. I can't let that lead last any longer lol

Still though, do you think you could do better than us, or would you be just as bad – or maybe even worse – than I was?  Leave a comment, and make sure to tell us if you enjoyed watching too.  :)

As always we hope you have an amazingggg week, and we shall see youuuu next time. Later!

When in Cyprus

Hey guys!

So it's just Charlotte here today and... here's the thing. Wayyy back at the start of summer, I went on holiday with some of my family to Cyprus. I filmed a load of stuff, edited it when I got back and then I waited for someone to send me the last bit of footage - video of me scuba diving on this amazing wreck site - and I waited... and I waited... and now Summer is basically over for me because I start at uni on Tuesday. *sigh*

In the end, I decided to just upload the vlog without that extra footage. Hopefully you guys will still enjoy itttt.

There were defo some other memorable moments that did get included in the video though. Eg:

- The number of times my sunglasses got caught in my fringe and hung over my face.
- The insaaaane amount of table tennis that I played with my bro and my dad :')
- Driving the golf buggy down what was basically a cliff face even though I have ZERO driving experience. Eek!
- THE HUUUGE SPIDER THAT CAME TO THE VILLA akfkskfoneifnsodmsk
- Pretty, pretty scenery. So beautifullllll...

So yeah! It's late. Buttttt, it's finally out!!!

I hope all of you guys had an awesome summer and are having a really great week.

Keep smilingggg,

Charlotte xx

Best Friend Test - continued :)

Yo!

It's us again (Charlotte and Ranveer), just to say that we're back with PART 2 of our Best Friend Tag.

In this half, we answered these questions:

- What's your favourite inside joke?
- Who takes longer to get ready in the morning?
- Favourite seasons?
- What's it like being friends with someone who is OBSESSED with YouTube?
- Heels or flats?
- Pants... or dresses? (NOT what Charlotte thought that question was going to be asking; pants or boxers. Eek! It's TROUSERS all you Americans! Trousers I tell you!!! lmao)
- Okay. So your house is burning down but everyone inside is sure to be safe. What object do you save and why?
- Comedy, horror, or chick-flick?
- Blackberry or iPhone?
- Do you guys have anything matching? (Lol... ummmm.. you'll see in the video. DON'T JUDGE, K?)
- Favourite TV shows?

Phew! Twas a lot of questions. But it was definitely fun answering them together, and we hope you guys have just as much fun watching the video and finding out some new things about us. Would your answers have been similar or completely different? Let us know with a comment!

OH, and have an amazing week :)

Best Friend Test

Why hello there! :)

Charlotte and Ranveer here.

Now for those of you who don't know... we're best friends. Surprisingly, we only have been for about 2 years - but if you ask me (Charlotte) it feels like it's been forever! I still remember going to Ranveer's house for the first time and just going absolutely crazy with the PhotoBooth on her laptop... There must've been about 100 pictures of us on there just messing around in her room. Although that is of course how all of the best friendships are formed; a hell of a lot of selfies! xD

Even so, we thought it was about time to put our friendship to the test; tag style. Here's part one!

The questions we answered in this half were:

- How and when did you meet?
- What's your favourite memory together?
- Describe each other in one word!
- What's your dream job?
- What's your favourite make-up brand?
- What annoys the other person most about you?
- If you could go anywhere in the world together, where would it be?

We hope you enjoy watching it, and learn a bit more about us - we certainly learnt some things about each other filming this lol.

OH, and keeeep smiling!

Charlotte and Ranveer xx

P.S: Part 2 will be up tomorrow! Also, how would you have done with your best friend? Better, worse? Leave a comment :)

The Headband Challenge

Hey guys :) Charlotte and Ranveer here with another Challenge videoooo!

This game was pretty simple; we each had to wear a headband (chunky, blue, plastic-y... so stylish), and the other person would insert a random card into it. Each card had a picture, with the pics varying from objects, to food, to animals. Whatever is on the card is effectively YOU for the duration of the round, and you have to ask yes or no questions until you find out what you are!

10 questions each, 1 opponent, 1 aim: DO NOT lose. Whoever does will be forced to eat a spoonful of ketchup. *yuck*

Simple, right? Well... that's what we /thought/ anyway.

Ok so it did go quite well at the very beginning - we did Rock Paper Scissors to decide who would start off (as usual), and then I, Charlotte, won (also as usual... hehehe).

But the easy ride all ended when Ranveer managed to get insanely confused in the FIRST round of the game. xD It went something along these lines.

Me: "Am I to do with sports, Ranveer?"
Ranveer: "Hmmmm... Ummm... No?"
Me: "Err.. Ok. Am I round?"
Ranveer: "Ermmm... Um.. Well... No?"
Me: O_o

What did she mean? Why was she so confused?! I must be something that miiight be used in a sport, and is sooner of round, but not really. Otherwise, she wouldn't seem so confused about what to say, right?

Well.

Turns out I was a PENCIL. From then on I doubted everything she said, "um"s and "ahh"s included lmao.

Ranveer managed to guess she was a bed in exactly 5 questions. I worked out, after what felt like a long list of meats, that I was in fact a fish. It felt like it was going nowhere. We were both too good despite all the confusion complicating matters. xD

So in the end, it was a draw. We both won... so we both lost. And what did anyone who lost have to do? Eat a spoon of ketchup. *shudder* I really don't want to have to describe that experience to you, so if you want to watch our suffering, then please... Watch the video :s

In spite of that last bit though, the Challenge was definitely fun for us, and we hope you had fun watching it too!

Until next time,
Charlotte and Ranveer xx

P.S: Keep smiling :)

The Language Challenge

Helloooo people :)

Now, here's the thing: Ranveer and I (Charlotte) are both people who like languages. I'm going to be studying French and Russian at university, and both of us talk from time to time about wanting to learn more languages... especially Korean. Cos... Well. Them Kpop guys though! xD

Anyway, because of this shared interest (in languages, not in Korean guys hehe), we thought we might as well give the Languages Challenge a go!

All we had to do was say a series of phrases to the other person in a random language, using our good - if slightly unreliable - friend, Google Translate. That person then had to guess both which language we were undoubtedly failing at speaking, /and/ the meaning of the sentence.

Simple right? Wrong. So wrong! I mean, maybe it was our terrible pronunciation. Maybe it was the randomness of the phrases. But WOW some of our guesses were a bit... Um... Interesting. xD

I think my favourite dodgy guess was when  Ranveer said "the football match was boring" in Lithuanian and I was completely convinced that she had said "footballer Rooney is chubby". DON'T JUDGE, K? Someone on the TV had literally just been talking about his recent increase in chubbiness before we filmed the video. I really wasn't trying to be mean D:  But still, tooooo funny!

Something that really wasn't funny for the loser of this challenge - and you're gunna have to watch the video to find out who that was - was that they had to eat a whole chilli. Eek >.< Throughout the entire challenge, I was terrified that I would lose, and that when I ate the chilli, my taste buds would kinda like... Explode. Haha! Well, it definitely gave us both some more motivation to win.

For now though, that's it from us over here on ourhappyplace. We hope you enjoy watching the video, and that you have an amaaazing day. <3

Keep smiling guys!

Milkshakes!

HELLO beautiful people! I hope you've all been well :D It's Ranveer here and recently, I've been in a really random but happy mood. So I decided to write a lil somethin' somethin' about my day today.

In just over a week, I will be heading off to university and so will quite a lot of my friends from school. For that reason, we all decided to meet up for lunch at a nearby milkshake place.

I got a chocolate chip banana crumble milkshake (Something like that....I'm not sure if I got that right) and Charlotte got a Cookies and Cream milkshake - yum!! #oreos

And of course, we had to take selfies with our milkshakes, hehe.

So now, with around a week left at home, it's time to buy those last minute items to take to university and then pack a whole load of clothes, pictures, plates, cups etc. I really don't know if I'm ready to go but I guess I'll just have to go with it and really make the most of my time there. Nervous. But so freakin EXCITED.

I'll catch up with you guys soon, but until then. Keep smiling!! xxx

When in Paris

Salut tout le monde! Charlotte here :)

If you follow me and Ranveer on instagram (@_ourhappyplace_ ), then you'll know that I recently went on a day trip to Paris with my family. Whilst I was there, I couldn't resist filming a load of the things we saw and did on that day to show you guys.

As someone who is going to be starting to study French at University come October, I definitely love going to France (and especially Paris, which is undoubtedly its major cultural centre). Not only do I get to see beautiful sites when I go there, but I get to practice my French - at least... I usually do. This time... I'd lost my voice. I could only speak for brief points in the day and usually only after I'd had a hot drink. *sigh*
Still, it was a great day. We managed to see loads of the major tourist sites, as well as visiting some a bit further off the trail, like La Basilique Saint Denis, and an enormous French bookshop called Gilbert Jeune, situated very close to Notre Dame - one of the best stops for me considering I love to read in French.

We literally went all over Paris, going from the end of one metro line to the end of another, but making many stops along the way so we could fit in as much as possible. It was sooooo worth the early start, even if I couldn't really speak for most of the day. To me, Paris is just one of those places you can go to fifty times and still find more to see. Not only is it huge but you have both huge touristy things and hidden gems that no one seems to know about... to find them you have to go exploring. And I love exploring - or going on "adventures". xD

I hope that everyone is having an awesome week! xxx

GCSEs + A-levels: Grades & Advice

Hey guys!! HAPPY SATURDAY!! Ranveer and Charlotte here. So it’s September now, which means that summer is officially over for this year and the schools are opening up again. Boo! Charlotte and I (Ranveer) both finished school back in June and so we’ve still got a few more weeks of chilling out before we start university. As we just completed our A-levels, (and our GCSEs 2 years ago) we wanted to give you all some tips and advice, and just some motivation to get you through the school year.

These exams that you will have to sit at the end of the year are SO IMPORTANT. Once you’ve completed your GCSEs, you have to move onto A-levels and these will be the subjects that YOU have chosen and weren’t forced to do like Maths, English, Double/Triple Science (and ICT for me). It may be that you really enjoy these specific A-level subjects or that they are required for the course/degree that you want to apply for at university. BUT, if you don’t achieve a high enough grade then there’s a possibility that you won’t be able to study this subject at A-level. When I was choosing my A-level subjects, I was told that I had to get a B or better in GCSE Maths to be able to study it during sixth form. So please take your GCSEs very seriously.

We give 8 key points that are really important to take into consideration when going to school and revising for exams. The advice we give in the video really worked for us, and it showed in our grades (which are revealed towards the start of the video).

I’m not sure how the education system works in other countries but these tips definitely apply to everyone: Keeping yourself organised, doing you work the day you get it, making a timetable, staying healthy, revision sessions, going through as many past papers as you possibly can, NOT staying up all night to do your revision and just STAYING MOTIVATED throughout the year because once your exams are finished, you will have a really nice, long and relaxing holiday to do whatever you want!! (We go into a lot more detail about these points in the video)

Also, if you have any questions then please either leave a comment here or in the video or tweet us @_ourhappyplace_ and we will definitely reply. We could even make another video if there are specific topics that you want to hear us talk about. Trust me, we’ve been through it all: Stress, depression, anxiety, mood swings, friendship problems. But we got through it all and it made us stonger individuals. So if you have any problems then we would love to help you out!

Don’t forget to also have fun and make the most of this year with your friends. Now that we’re going off to university, we won’t be able to see our friends from secondary school as much as we’d like to.

So keep smiling and I know you will get through this year of hard work. xxx

KBS Kpop World Festival London Finals 2014

HEY GUYS. Ranveer here, and I’ve mentioned this in our ‘Things We Like!’ video, but I’ll say it again: I. Love. K-pop. (Korean Pop) and yesterday, I went to the KBS Kpop World Festival London Finals at DSTRKT, with my two sisters, cousin and best friend (You may recognise her from the Hyper Japan vlog). ~ Well actually... It’s past midnight now, so the event was 2 days ago, but oh wellllllll, same thing!

We got to the venue at around 2:30 and so we made it just in time for the beginning of the competition. There were roughly 300 people in the club, cheering on the acts as they performed their covers of K-pop songs (singing or dancing). I won’t go into too much detail of each act because, to be honest, I will end up saying the same thing about them all, which is that they were amazing and so talented.

In the end, there were two winners: one for dance and one for vocals, and the vocalist winner was a man named Jeffrey (I hope I spelt his name right, if not then I’m so sorry!!) and the dancing act that won was a group called prism, who performed an insanely amazing cover of BAP’s One shot. Loved it!

After, the winners and runner-ups were announced, it was time to set up the dance floor and well....DANCE, for the next two hours. The atmosphere was great and it was so much fun dancing along to some of my favourite Korean tracks with my friend. (My sister even joined in at one point...and she doesn’t really like dancing!)

Please excuse our faces in these pics xD

Towards the end of the event, we decided to hop onto the stage and dance along with some other Kpop fans, until we got told off by the security for having too many people on the stage (Boo.) But it was totally worth it! :P We met some awesome people at the event and I will definitely be attending the KBS Kpop World Festival London Finals next year and who knows...Charlotte and I might even participate! But we can’t sing so dancing is our only option...and ummm you know how much of a flop we are when it comes to dance:

SO yeahhhh, we’re gonna need to step up our game if we want to take part. But we have a year. A lot can happen in a year. We just gotta make the most of our time and stay positive! I shall leave you with a picture of some cinnabons that we bought after the event. (2 for £1 wooooo)

They were so yummy! :')

I’ll talk to y’all very soon, but in the meantime, KEEP SMILING and STAY AWESOME :D xxx

2 Truths 1 Lie Challenge

Hey guyssss! :)
Charlotte and Ranveer here and we're back with another Challenge video.

The challenge this time was "2 Truths and a Lie" - a game where one person says three statements about themselves, and the other has to correctly identify which one is false. Sounds easy right? WRONG.

Althoughhh, when we set out to do this challenge, we found that the most difficult part wasn't in the guessing, but the planning. It seemed we simply knew too much about each other! It was actually soooo hard to think of truths and lies where the other person wouldn't know the answer already - and in fact we didn't even manage it properly because we'd both forgotten parts of what the other one knew! Ranveer forgot I (Charlotte) had read her personal statement back in Year 12 and so I knew about her maths awards; and I forgot all about the apparently hundredssss of times I'd told her that I've never watched Mulan. Shameful, I know... I'll watch it one day? XD

The challenge itself was quite fun though, and we learnt some... interesting... Things about each other. Did you know Ranveer was almost the star of a TV show? No? Me neither! Also, did you know that I... Well, um... I kind of bit my best friends hand in reception because I got annoyed with her. *hides* I haven't bitten anyone again since then though, I swear!!! *angel face*

The best part of the challenge, however, was definitely the ending (for me anyway, mwahaha!).

Walking around the block with Ranveer looking as hawttttt as she does in the pic above certainly turned some heads.

To be fair though, I'm not sure that the artistic skills I unleashed on her in any way compare to what she did to me when I lost The Theme Song Challenge:

Soooo after these two challenges, the leaderboard is at 1-1 on Charlotte vs Ranveer. It's definitely on and there's everything to play for. >:D

If there's a challenge you'd like to see us do, make sure to leave a comment! But for now, Charlotte and Ranveer outttt, and we shall see you next time. :) xxx

2 Girls 1 Weapon I Mortal Kombat

Hey everyone! Charlotte and Ranveer here. We're back with another video in our 2 Girls 1 Game series, and this time we played Mortal Kombat.

Were we any good, you ask? Well. We were absolutely uh-may-zing... for two (kinda ill) noobs who haven't played the game in years. xD

Somehow, we managed to get to the third stage (out of ten stages) in the "Team Ladder" mode before both dying gruesome deaths. Just thinking about all that blood... *shudder*

Throughout the rest of the game though, we actually did alright, and we probablyyyy would've done loads better if we knew how to swap in and out properly! In the end we just kinda got into the habit of pressing all the buttons at once and hoping that it would bring the other person in. Anyone know the actual combo for it? Lol

Something we DID learn playing this game though was that this game has some awesome but disgusting moves. Ranveer had waaaay too much fun freezing her opponents and smashing their faces in for example, and my move (I'm Charlotte, btw) was so violent and ahhhhh! When it went to X-ray vision and you could see the skull as it cracked, just... omds.

This game was a lot of fun though, and we got a bit excited playing it xD. Defo want to play some more one day and beat our all-time record of 3 stages on Team Ladder!

Oh, and one final conclusion from this game: we are the MASTERS of button bashing.

Charlotte and Ranveer out. See you next time. ;) xxx

When in Barcelona I Day 4: Beach & Departure

Sup everybody? Charlotte and Ranveer here for the final instalment of our little Barcelona series! :)

It felt like we had been there for no time at all, but the time had come for us to say our goodbyes to the apartment and check out in the morning. Seeing as our flight wasn't until 21:55 though, we left our luggage locked safely away and set off to make the most of our last chance to catch some Sun before going back to the rain - torrential rain - in London.

We quickly decided that the best way to do that would be to go to the beach and spend our final hours chilling there, splashing around in the huuuuge waves and running down the shore, bay watch style, past the crowds of people.

Oh, and also. We are officially amazing at taking mid-air jumping pics, HSM style.

Ohhhh yeah. :3

Something else we did at the beach was eat some decent vegetarian food. NO MORE BURGER KING! Carrots, toasted seedy bread, the best chips everrrr and hummus. Mmmm... #foodporn :3

Now, everyone knows that you shouldn't swim straight after you eat.  So what did we do instead? Played with our shadows of course! Pssht, we are sooo mature. xD

Soon though, the sun began to set. We picked up our bags, took our final selfies of the trip and got to the airport nice and early, ready for our flight, just to find that it was delayed by an hour. Dammit.

At midnight UK time however, we finally landed and a couple of hours later we were in bed and trying to sleep, without panicking, about the A-Levels results we were due to get in just a few hours. Tbh, it wasn't too bad; we had loads of great memories from the trip still fresh in our minds, and we had done so much during our time in Barcelona that we were both exhausted.

How can we sum up this holiday? Maybe just with the word "awesome". :)

Not sure if you can tell, but that's meant to say OHP ...lol

Hopefully one day, we'll be able to do it all over again... For now though, Charlotte and Ranveer out. xxx

My dog: Wesco vom Gleisenauer Schloß

Hey guys, Ranveer here. I know you were probably expecting this post to be about our final day in Barcelona, but don’t worry! That will be up very soon. I promise.

I just wanted to talk about my dog, Wesco, somewhere. I figured this blog would be a good place to do that. If you have watched some of our videos on YouTube then you may have heard loud barking noises in the background and that was from my 2 german shepherd dogs: Wesco and Kira.

Wesco is the larger dog of the two, in the picture. The little black puppy is not Kira. He was our other puppy at the time but he now lives with our family friend.

Today, at 5:50pm, I overheard my brother and cousin talking about how my dad would be taking Wesco to the vet. Around 6 months ago, we found out that Wesco was suffering from cancer. I immediately burst into tears at the thought of losing him after being with him for so long. Since hearing the news, his condition became worse and he developed an ear infection and well...he just wasn’t as active as he used to be.

He has been a part of our family since 2005, when my dad drove to Germany with my brother to pick him up. Not once have we ever put him on a leash or used a collar. He is probably the most well-trained dog I will ever come across in my life. So obedient. So loving. So caring. He was always there to take care of us and to protect us. He was with me for half of my life. He saw me grow up.

As I said before, I found out that he would be taken to the vet and went straight to my dad to ask if this was true. He told me it was true and that there was a possibility that he wouldn’t be returning home with us. I ran upstairs, grabbed my shoes, and went straight to the car.

We made our way to the vet and sat in the waiting room for a while and it gave me a chance to reflect on the memories with Wesco. I have had so many dogs throughout my life, but Wesco has been with us for the longest. I’m rambling on now and this post will become really long if I keep going at this rate and I’m sure you all know where this story is leading to.

He has been suffering for a long time now, and it has been really hard to watch. The vet told us that it was time to put him down and that it was for the best. We had a couple of minutes to say our goodbyes and then it was time for us to leave.

I’m not sure how I managed to type this without it being a complete mess. I apologise for the spelling mistakes and the missing punctuation etc. but I just honestly can’t write this without stopping to get more tissues and wiping my eyes.

Wesco vom Gleisenauer Schloß, your father was a champion and may have won best dog in 2000, but from 2005 onwards, in my eyes, that title has belonged to you. I love you. You will be remembered forever.

When in Barcelona I Day 3: Sagrada Familia & Bus Tour

Sup peoplessss? Charlotte and Ranveer here and you guessed it, we are gunna be talking to you about Day 3 of our little adventures in Barcelona.

In fact, our third day in the city probably was the most adventurous. We started off by journeying to the Sagrada Familia - also known as Spain's famously incomplete yet stunning cathedral - and skipping the hours of queues with the use of a personal tour guide. What made it even better was that to get there, we went on the metro from the station "Paral.lel" to "Diagonal". Get it? Oh we are soooo sad lol. xD

Anyway, the Sagrada Familia really was beautiful. The guide told us how the architect, Gaudi, had designed it around nature. He explained the intricacies of the symbolism in the cathedral, detailing how every animal carved into the walls represented something different and the way in which Gaudi had ensured the cathedral would be constructed in a way such that the Sun's orbit would circle around the church perfectly instead of going over the top; it meant that no matter what time of day it was, there would be natural lighting until the Sun set completely.

After that, it was definitely time for lunch. Like seriously, we were starving. xD Luckily we found the Pizza Emporium, which had vegetarian food (not just pizza but pasta mmm) !!! Exciting times for us considering we had been practically living on snacks so far. So we kinda ate quiiiite a bit hehe.

Once we were full and finished with our food we decided to get tickets for one of the bus tours that goes around Barcelona. Having bought our tickets we joined the queue to get on to the bus and waited there for... well, I want to say 5 minutes butttt if I'm being completely honest it was more like 10... before realising we were in a queue for a different bus tour. OOPS! xD So we quickly changed lines and tried to act casual about it, and eventually hopped onto the RIGHT bus.

The bus took us around the city and we got off it a few times to check out some of the sights. We went to some gardens, which were very pretty, but Ranveer had a bit too much fun when we came across some statues inside them and she tried to copy their... interesting... poses.

Oh, and she also hid in some bushes and swung around a pole. Naughty girl. -.-

From there, it was a relatively short walk to FC Barcelona's Stadium, which was a must-see for us considering our group had long since decided that our team name for this holiday would be "the seven wives of Neymar Jr". :3 Also... The stadium had a Ben and Jerry's ok, 'nuff said. We NEEDED that cookie dough.

Our final stop was perhaps the most beautiful. Overlooking not only the magic fountain but the whole of the city. Uh-may-zinggg.

We could've stayed there for so long just staring out at the view, but sadly we had to drag our reluctant selves away and walk back to the apartment. It was quite a long trek but our (mostly Ranveer's) map reading skills were totally on point.

After crashing for a while in our room, we decided it was time to eat once again. Butttt we kinda had no food left, so we had to settle for billions of Burger King mozzarella sticks and some chips. Seriously, it felt like we did have billions of those things and I don't think I will be eating any more mozzarella sticks for a long time to come. Even the words "mozzarella sticks" are making me shudder a bit. So I'm gunna stop saying it now.

After eating all that fast food though, we felt like we had to burn some energy off. And that meant jumping around on the bed like lunatics, with me (Charlotte) being violently attacked by Ranveer with a pillow to the face. :'(

So as I'm practically knocked out, we shall leave it there and we will see you tomorrow to talk about our final day. Peace out, adios, laterssss!!! ;) xxx
